How to start in-home child care business?

I have been considering opening an in-home child care business. I would love to hear how much people charge, how many kids they have with no assistance, and what are the ups and downs of this? I would also like to know if there are any grants available to help open the business. Thanks!!
How does one start an in-home child care business?

I am considering starting an in-home child care business. I need to bring in around $300-400 a week and was wondering if in-home can be lucrative, as well as rewarding. I would love to hear how much people charge, how many kids they have alone, with no assistance, and what are the ups and downs of this?
Why is McCain’s home state displaying a certain degree of scepticism about him?

Amy Silverman, a columnist for the Phoenix New Times magazine, surmised: “The John McCain the country is seeing is not the John McCain we know. He’s nasty, arrogant and couldn’t care less about [what] Arizonans want or need.”
Ms Silverman is one of several journalists who have felt the heat of Mr McCain’s wrath - he refused to speak to her for five years because of an investigation she conducted into his wife’s addiction to painkillers - and her sense of outrage is shared by several local politicians and political advisers who have fallen foul of him.
His famous temper, which has made national headlines in recent months, is only part of the problem. According to his enemies, he can be devastating in his dismissals of people he has no further use for, and even a little vindictive - frequently threatening to displace Republican candidates he does not like by putting up one of his proteges to dislodge them.
Furthermore, there is a widespread feeling he pays too little attention to issues of interest to Arizona, using the his adopted home state as a power base and nothing more
