My first Name is Katie. Someone thought “Katie’s Kid Castle” was cute but I’m not too crazy about it. I like something more comforting like “Safe Haven” and “KinderCARE” . All suggestions welcome.

Also, if anyone knows of a website I can use to check the use of my name so that I do not duplicate or steal someone else’s idea that would be of help.

I have been considering opening an in-home child care business. I would love to hear how much people charge, how many kids they have with no assistance, and what are the ups and downs of this? I would also like to know if there are any grants available to help open the business. Thanks!!

I just moved to Oak Lawn, and I have a 4-month-old daughter who is very easy to care for, and I’m looking to care for maybe 2 other children, who are over the age of 1. I put up an ad on craigslist, but I’ve had no responses. What do I need to do child care and how do I get the word out there so I can start?
