Home Care Software

Yes i just bought this notebook today and it has pretty much all the preloaded software installed many of which i could care less of. How do i Tune Up, Tweak, And just straight out optimize my new Vista 64Bit Processor Home Premium. I bought this from best buy and they had tried to charge me another 120 dollars alone to remove preloaded software / junk and i guess 9,000 additional tweaks and turns to keep my notebook at tip top performance (efficiency) well lately i have used this norton internet security 2007 and it could not be any slower and i would just like to know what i can do , what i can get, for a full system suite that cleans registry, remove all registries when performing an uninstall, cleaning out useless junk, just keeping it real thanks!!! if any websites that would be great to.

I own a HP Laptop (tx2530ea with Vista Home Premium), which I must say is terrible, especially bundled with their ‘HP Total Care’.

I have had problem after problem, and would like to re-install a clean install, without any of their software, so I can manually do it.

I don’t want to pay anything, but want a working laptop!

Does anyone have any suggestions?
